The 28th Monthly Meeting of our Association was held on 9th December, 2024 in the Senior Citizen welfare Association Bhavan at 5.00 PM.
The discussions and resolutions are given below;

The 28th monthly meeting of senior citizen welfare association was held on 9th December, 2024 in the Senior Citizen Welfare Association Bhavan office at 5:00 PM.

The following agenda was discussed and resolutions were passed in the meeting.

The 28th General Body meeting was held on 9th December 2024 at 5 pm in Senior Citizen Bhavan.

1. The meeting commenced with honouring of the Corporator Ragam Nagender Yadav Garu. The President, Dr. Jayanth Kumar Garu, elaborated on the considerable efforts involved in constructing the Senior Citizen Bhavan. He acknowledging the invaluable support and encouragement provided by Corporator Nagender Yadav Garu. He assured that the assistance and support received from him will always be remembered. In return, the Corporator pledged his unwavering support and commitment to our future endeavours too.

2. The meeting continued after departure of Corporator Nagender Yadav Garu with birthday greetings to senior members who have birthday in the month of December. All the senior citizens happily greeted the following a warm happy birthday in advance and a healthy life in future coming years.

3. The new members were welcomed and introduced to the association.

4. The President Dr. A. Jayanth Kumar expressed gratitude and thanked all the members for making the Karteeka vana bhojana program a grand success.

5. K. Pandurangaiah Garu presented balance sheet of income and expenditure pertaining to Karteeka vana Bhojana Program. The leftover balance of Rs520.00 was deposited to association account.

6. Chit draw was conducted and the winners were as follows;
i. P. Bhaskar Garu in the first chit (Series 1).
ii. T. Venkulu Goud Garu in the Second chit (Series 2).

7. The Presented audio-visual presentation of 2-year annual report as bird’s eye-view using the website “scwahtc.co.in”.

8. The President informed the General body that, the 2-year term of the present executive body will be completed by December end and hence a new executive body is going to be elected in the next General body meeting which is going to be held on 9th January 2025 at 4:30 PM.

9. The President gave the notification with an announcement in the General body meeting about the posts and schedule as per byelaws.
The posts are as fallows;
i. President.
ii. Vice President.
iii. General Secretary.
iv. Joint Secretary.
v. Treasurer.
vi. Executive Member – 1.
vii. Executive Member – 2.
viii. Executive Member – 3.
ix. Executive Member – 4.

10. Election for these 9 posts will be held on 9th January 2025. At 4:30 PM. In the General body meeting.

11. An election officer is going to be appointed from senior members (by age) depending on their availability and willing; on 2nd or 3rd of January 2025.

12. All by the enthusiastic members can submit their nominations duly signed by proposers in a sealed cover either to acting General secretary K. Pandurangaiah Garu or to Election officer.

13. The election officer will conduct the election if necessary and announce the winners in the General body meeting on 9th January 2025. An oath taking program will be continued by Election Officer after announcing the winners.

14. Unfilled posts if any can be filled by newly elected body with nomination before the next General body.

15. The voting can be conducted either by raising hands or by secret ballet as the members wish to have.

16. The newly Executive committee can appoint any number of sub-committees depending on need. The committees can have a term 2-years or next election whichever is early.

17. The Executive Committee con appoint Project based committees; these committees get dissolved after completion of the project.

18. The Executive body can appoint 3 ex-officio members and 3 advisory board members for smooth and effective running of the association.

19. The President Dr. Jayanth Kumar answered all the questions and cleared the doubts of members about byelaws and the present body members.

20. The meeting was concluded with vote of thanks by K. Pandurangaiah garu.
